We are Tesla Certified Installers

National LED is proud to announce that we are a Tesla Certified Installer in the United States. This certification expands our ability to help homeowners, businesses, property owners, developers, and facility teams install Tesla charging and energy products with experienced electrical support from initial planning through final commissioning.

Under our Tesla Certified Installer agreement, National LED is approved to provide services and purchase and resell Tesla Powerwall products and home-charging equipment throughout the United States. This is an important step in our continued growth as a national electrical and energy solutions provider.

For our customers, the certification means more than access to well-known Tesla technology. It means they can work with a team that understands the complete electrical scope behind a successful installation, including site evaluation, system design, permitting, equipment installation, electrical infrastructure, startup, and coordination.

What Does It Mean To Be a Tesla Certified Installer?

Tesla Certified Installers are trained professionals who specialize in installing eligible Tesla energy and charging products. Tesla recommends working with a Certified Installer for Wall Connector installations and helps connect customers with qualified installers for commercial charging projects.

National LED’s certification covers:

  • Tesla home-charging equipment
  • Tesla Powerwall products
  • Installation and related services
  • Purchase and resale of approved products
  • Projects within the United States

This certification allows National LED to provide a more complete experience for customers who want to add Tesla charging or battery storage to their property. Rather than coordinating separately with an equipment provider, electrical contractor, and commissioning team, customers can rely on one experienced company to help manage the project.

Tesla Wall Connector Installation

Tesla Wall Connector is designed for convenient charging at homes, workplaces, multifamily properties, hospitality locations, and other destinations where vehicles remain parked for extended periods. Depending on the vehicle and electrical configuration, Tesla states that Wall Connector can provide up to 11.5 kW and 48 amps of output.

Although the charger itself is a major part of the system, its long-term performance depends on the electrical infrastructure supporting it. Every property has different panel capacity, available voltage, parking arrangements, wire-run distances, and future charging needs. A professional evaluation helps determine the correct installation approach before work begins.

National LED can help evaluate important project requirements such as:

  • Existing electrical service and panel capacity
  • Charger location and parking-space access
  • Circuit sizing and available power
  • Conduit and wiring routes
  • Indoor, outdoor, wall, or pedestal mounting
  • Trenching or underground electrical work
  • Permitting and inspection requirements
  • Internet connectivity for connected features
  • Commissioning, registration, and final testing

After installation, Tesla Wall Connector must be properly commissioned and registered. This process includes configuring the unit, connecting it to Wi-Fi when available, setting the breaker rating and output amperage, and confirming that the equipment is operating correctly.

Commercial Tesla Charging for Businesses and Properties

EV charging is becoming an increasingly valuable feature for commercial properties. Learn more about the benefits of adding EV charging stations to your business, including improved customer convenience, longer visits, and potential charging revenue.

National LED can support Tesla charging projects for a wide range of properties, including:

  • Office buildings and corporate campuses
  • Apartment and condominium communities
  • Hotels and hospitality properties
  • Retail centers and mixed-use developments
  • Restaurants and entertainment venues
  • Automotive dealerships
  • Municipal and public facilities
  • Warehouses and industrial properties
  • Educational and healthcare campuses

Tesla’s commercial charging platform allows eligible site hosts to manage installed Wall Connectors through the Tesla Portal. Depending on the site configuration and program requirements, property owners may offer charging as a complimentary amenity or enable pay-per-use charging.

Commercial projects often require more planning than a single residential charger. The installation may involve several Wall Connectors, longer electrical runs, new distribution equipment, concrete work, pedestals, bollards, striping, signage, network planning, and coordination with utility or local authorities.

Our team looks at the entire site so the charging system is designed around the property’s current needs and future plans.

Power Management for Challenging Electrical Conditions

Available electrical capacity is one of the first questions that must be answered when planning an EV charger installation. In some cases, a property may not have enough unused capacity to operate every charger at full output at the same time without an expensive service upgrade.

Tesla Wall Connector includes power-management options that can help installers match charging performance to the electrical system. Depending on the application, these features can establish a fixed maximum output, dynamically adjust charging based on available power, or distribute available power among multiple compatible Wall Connectors.

The correct strategy depends on the property, equipment, electrical demand, and number of vehicles expected to charge. National LED can review these conditions and recommend an approach that balances charging performance, project cost, and available infrastructure.

Planning for future expansion is also important. A business may only need a few chargers today but expect demand to increase as more employees, tenants, residents, or customers drive electric vehicles. Installing appropriately sized conduit, distribution equipment, or spare capacity during the initial project can make later expansion more efficient.

Tesla Powerwall Installation Support

National LED’s Tesla Certified Installer agreement also includes Tesla Powerwall products. Powerwall is a battery energy-storage system designed to store electricity for later use. Depending on the system design, it can support backup-power needs and help property owners manage how energy is used.

A Powerwall project requires careful electrical planning. The equipment must be evaluated in relation to the property’s service, electrical loads, backup priorities, installation location, connectivity, and applicable utility and permitting requirements.

National LED can help coordinate the technical and electrical elements of the project, including:

  • Initial site and electrical evaluation
  • System planning and equipment coordination
  • Required electrical modifications
  • Permitting and inspection coordination
  • Equipment installation
  • Connection and configuration
  • Startup and operational verification

Every property is different, so the final system design should be based on an on-site assessment and the customer’s specific energy goals.

Why Work With National LED?
